I have been going to this since I was a baby in the early 80’s. I remember seeing Steve Saleen there in 1988 racing his Fox Body Mustang and in 1992 Carrol Shelby came. The first day on Wednesday they have participants reunion in the Claremore Event Center. Thursday and Friday morning everyone going to Hallet Motor Speed Way in Jennings Oklahoma. During the evening back in Claremore they have dessert mixer and a street party. On Saturday it is at the Tulsa Raceway Park for the drag race event. On Sunday they have coffee and car show. All these events they have parts swap meets. Everyone from nearly every state comes to show and its the biggest Mustang and Shelby show in the world. Every model of Shelby and even AC Cobra’s will be there. Although you will see some great Mustang II’s there but not many as we should. We need to have more of our Mustang II’s enter the races and the car show to advance our cause of bringing them into prominence.
