Hi my name is Mila, I create this site because there is no forum that is free for Mustang II’s. I’ve been building cars with my family since I was 8 years old. I loved Mustangs since we had our first a 65 Fastback 4 speed. I have 2 1971 Mach 1’s but my passion with Mustang II’s started just about 3 years ago (throughout the 80s and 90s we went to every Mustang show every year in our area and everything you heard was negative about the II’s. I did not think about them until I saw a Black with Orange decals for sale on auction site. It had been sitting untouched with less than 20K miles and it was perfect, and I loved the uniqueness of it. Then when I did my research and found out how rare they are I knew I would have to buy one. It took me 1 year, but I found the exact one, same colors per Marti Report and a 4 speed (I do not buy or like automatic trans). This will be quite the project since I was buying the rareness, and the values have gone up with some going for 26K. I also have agreed to buy a 77 Mach 1 because the cost is cheap, but it has to be shipped and shipping for an operable car is 1550 when you bid it out. I’m not sure what I will do with it, but the King Cobra will be restored to stock showroom quality minus true dual exhaust and 4 barrel carburetor.
